The short version
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the service work, for example to keep you signed in securely. With your consent, we remember the source of your visit to understand which sources lead to purchases. Separately, you can allow Google Analytics on selected public pages. No optional measurement starts before you agree.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off. They include your secure session cookie and a record of your cookie choice. They do not track you across other websites.
- adhdassess_session: keeps your authenticated session, with a server-side expiry of 24 hours. The session may be renewed through normal account use.
- aa_privacy: remembers your optional-cookie choices for up to 180 days.
Visit-source measurement (optional)
The first-party aa_source cookie lasts up to 30 days. It contains only a recognised source or campaign category and a capture time, not a name, contact detail, full referring URL, search term or screening answer. If you later buy a Passport while this permission is active, that category is recorded against your order for our internal sales reporting. It is not sent to Google or an advertising platform. Unknown sources remain unknown.
With that same optional permission, aa_visit holds a random first-party identifier for 30 minutes. It lets us count a browser visit once and understand which campaigns lead to screening starts, completion and Passport purchases. A visit is not a unique person. We record limited progress milestones inside ADHDassess, without answers, scores, names, email addresses, raw URLs or advertising click IDs. Staff see campaign totals, not individual visitors. These milestones are not sent to Google Ads or Meta.
The aa_privacy cookie remembers your choice for up to 180 days. Old choices from our previous banner are not treated as permission for this new measurement.
Google Analytics (optional)
On our public .com site, a separate choice allows Google Analytics on the home, about, pricing and resources index pages. It is not loaded on individual articles, sign-in, checkout, questionnaires, accounts, report or staff pages. Preview testing is excluded.
Google receives a fixed public page address, a neutral page label and basic visit and device information, including a cookie identifier. We do not send URL query strings, referring addresses, names, contact details, answers, scores, reports or purchase details. Google processes your IP address to handle the request; this is not anonymous processing. Advertising personalisation, Google signals and automatic interaction tracking are disabled.
The _ga and _ga_* cookies last up to 30 days. Existing visit-source consent does not enable Google Analytics. Google's handling of data is explained in its privacy policy.
Managing your choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer to allow or reject optional measurement at any time. Choosing Necessary only deletes the visit-source, visit-identifier and Google measurement cookies and stops future capture. Withdrawing Google permission reloads the current public page to remove its scripts. It does not rewrite source categories already recorded against orders. Rejecting optional cookies will not stop you from purchasing or completing a screening.
