Safeguarding statement.

ADHDassess is a digital screening service, not an emergency or continuously monitored clinical service. This explains the proportionate steps we take when a concern is noticed.

Last reviewed 14 August 2026

ADHDassess is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent mental-health support, call NHS 111 and choose the mental-health option, contact the Samaritans on 116 123, or text SHOUT to 85258.

Our commitment

NeuroFX Ltd is a CQC-registered provider. Safeguarding children and adults at risk is a core part of how we operate. NeuroFX maintains clinical and safeguarding responsibility, and its team works within established safeguarding procedures.

What this means during screening

Answers are not read as they are entered and are not monitored overnight, at weekends or on bank holidays. Automated prompts may help a clinician locate relevant source material when a submitted report reaches normal clinical review. A prompt is not a risk assessment and does not automatically trigger contact, referral or emergency action.

If a clinician identifies an actual serious concern while reviewing the submitted information, they will use professional judgement and NeuroFX safeguarding procedures to decide whether any proportionate action is needed. Where appropriate this can include sharing information with a relevant service or authority. We will normally seek to be open about that unless doing so could increase risk.

Children and young people

Paediatric screening is purchased and completed by a parent or legal guardian. We design the process to keep the child’s welfare central, and we follow safeguarding-children procedures consistent with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory guidance.

Raising a concern

For a non-urgent concern about something connected to our service, contact us at info@neurofx.co.uk. This mailbox is not continuously monitored. In an emergency, contact the emergency services or your local authority safeguarding team directly.
